Join us as a volunteer 2012! 


Haunted Hidden Hollow- and we want you as a volunteer.  We need a commitment of enthusiastic volunteers and workers!  The community can help build Haunted Hidden Hollow- Forest into the largest and most popular Halloween event. –a unique and exciting Halloween experience in the woods promoting the values of  fun, family, and community involvement.  Please join us as a new or experienced volunteer. You’ll work with amazing people, learn a new skill and help the community – all while having tons of fun.

 

 

 2010 Haunted Hidden Hollow-Forest Volunteer Information


SET UP DAYS – Paint and build sets, organize props and costumes, maintain trails, and set the stages for the magic of the forest to happen. Come for as much time as you can give, wear something you can get paint and dirt on, bring tools (cordless drills, etc.) and have some serious fun!  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

PUMPKIN CARVING EVENTS – Help carve  jack-o-lanterns! (Enjoy music, food & contests too)  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

REHEARSAL DAY – Actors, guides and technical crew familiarize themselves with the trails and scenes.  Please set aside 1 to 1½ hours of rehearsal for guiding and per role assigned.

CHARACTER - Act in the scenes and put your dramatic talents to work (following scripts and guidelines).  Characters will be in costume with makeup; speaking, non-speaking  roles available.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

GUIDE - Lead groups through the Forest. Guides wear makeup and costume and could be speaking or non-speaking.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

MAKE-UP/COSTUMING – Help our makeup artist and characters get ready for the show.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

FOOD RELIEF – Fuel the show, deliver snacks and beverages to cast and crew during the shows.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

FOOD CONCESSION - Help prepare and sell snacks to guests of the forest.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

LINE MANAGEMENT - Work the line, greet guests and take tickets, coordinate groups going into the forest, or even be a character helping to entertain folks while they wait in line.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

TECHNICAL CREW AND RUNNERS - Help keep the show running smoothly from behind the scenes or operate special effects. Provide troubleshooting and logistical support for staff as needed.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

PARKING - Greet guests and keep traffic & parking organized; must be 18 or older.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)

SET STRIKE - Help take apart the production and store materials for next year.  (Volunteer Crossville, TN)
