It is said that anyone who passed through the haunted forest beware of the worse fate that could await him or her.  Everyone knew years back that if they went into the haunted forest, they might not return.  The elders of the community had told everyone that it was forbidden to go in the haunted forest. The haunted forest has been abandoned for years, when people went in they never returned. No one could take a step inside the haunted forest and no one had dared to. No one was brave enough to enter the haunted forest.

The story was that a family had lived in the haunted forest. The father had killed a man by torturing him, then buried him in the haunted forest. With no proper burial given to the man, it is also said the tourtured  soul wanders the haunted forest with a lantern to guide his way.  The father lived many years after this and had been cursed by the haunted forest till the day he died.

Some people obviously didn’t believe in this or believe it today.  People have heard strange noises from the haunted forest and seen the light of the lantern glowing up and down the creek in the spooky haunted forest.  Horses and cattle refuse to cross the creeks in the dark of the night into the haunted forest. The screams coming from the haunted forest are sometimes terrifying.       

That  is what has been told, the haunted forest has been haunted for 50 years now and no one has dared to take a step inside. Many things are happening in the haunted forest today. The old story has faded as the elders held back the haunted forest story from each generation.
